michelleallegra #Ad For this #internationalwomensday I decided to get in touch with a side I don’t normally explore of myself, being a woman. Now I don’t mean in the sense of exploring my sexuality, what I mean is exploring what the root of feminism is. By definition, FEMINISM is the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes. For this reason I am a feminist because I believe that women should work together to achieve equality in our nation. I’m not a feminist because I want to show my boobs more in my shirt or because I think i should have the right to have my butt hanging out of my shorts(not that there is anything wrong with that, to each is own), but because I believe women are powerful, strong and hard working and deserve the same opportunities as everyone else.
